I had to learn another craft...or "am learning" to be more precise.
Luckily the links are annodized aluminum and they are fairly cheap to learn on. The colors are bright and fun. There are a few things that I want to be able to do. Again, I will probably learn a bit about it then wander somewhere else for a while. ::sigh:: Jack of many trades
Here it is...
( Not many photos this time but still wanted to be nice and put them behind a cut... )

So, the computer is getting along fine now. Have everything I need and almost everything I want loaded up again.
The only thing left is Dragon Age. Even though I wouldn't have had a chance to play it again since I've reloaded everything, it would be nice for it to be taken care of so I don't have to worry about it. I received a reply today asking for some more information. It's nice to have heard back from them, but it was still over their "We will contact you within 24 hours" time frame. I guess I have to wait another 24 hours until they respond again. ::sigh:: Oh well, I have plenty of other stuff that's going to keep me busy anyways.
I'm continuing on with my Illustrator CS2 book-training. It's so much easier if there were a teacher but at least I'm learning a few new things. I'm about half way through the book. I'm already forgetting a few things that were in the first few chapters so I have to go back and re-read.
Although, I did do a project this afternoon. I recreated an image with a few minor changes. I'm happy with it. I have a few other projects like this I can play with that will help me retain the knowledge a bit better.
I love the classroom in a book series for Adobe, but it is a little basic. But at least I'm getting the basics down. I do have a more in-depth book but it's a bit hard to follow. Eventually, I want to get the WOW book, I really like the layout of it. Although, I am the type that if I don't know how to do it then I start clicking buttons. The only trouble is, occasionally, I'll get what I wanted but can't remember what I just did to cause it...but hey, it's learning ::grin::

So a few weeks ago, we went to Origins (gaming convention) and went through their artists room.
In there we met some great artists that I really like their work and I wanted to pimp them out to folks.
Fantasy Art Nouveau
Echo Chrenik
Pin-up style artwork
Bawidamann.com
Not a fan of the style, but I like the subject matter and what she's done with some of them. One here that is definitely NSFW.
Shaman Soul Studios
and one that was not at Origins but one of my personal favorite artists (but I'm biased)
Son of Pan Studios
